More commuters are getting to work without cars than the past, a new Gallup poll finds. In 2007, 85% of Americans drove themselves to work in 6% rode with someone else. But by 2018, while 6% still carpooled, the percentage to drive themselves to work felt a 77%. Meanwhile, the percentage who walk, bike or use mass transit to get the work grew from 9% to 16% over that period.
