George Gershwin PSO

 Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra for a symphonic reading of The Music in George’s Head: George Gershwin Creates Rhapsody in Blue by Suzanne Slade with illustrations by Stacy Innerst. The orchestra will perform this well-known music portraying George Gershwin’s creative process as the book is read aloud and the gorgeous illustrations are projected above the stage.

The Gallery Crawl is a free quarterly showcase of art and entertainment in the heart of the Cultural District. All events take place at a variety of galleries and spaces and are FREE and open to the public. The event is ongoing between 5:30 and 10:00 pm, and patrons may start at any location.
